Dao and Nam

Ah, I just love Dao and Nam. To be honest when we first met, I wasn't so sure how well our meeting was going because they were so quiet, haha, but low in behold, we have become good friends!

Dao and Nam's day started off with a traditional Tea Ceremony. In Vietnamese culture, the groom picks up the bride from her family's home and brings her back to his. The groom's side presents assorted trays filled with alcohol, fruits, specialty dishes, and more to the bride's family as an offering. Tea (sonetimes alcohol) is served to family members and gifts are presented to the couple for a happy marriage!

Following the Tea Ceremony was their lovely ceremony held on the grounds of Holy Trinity Reception Center. Their good friend, Vince, served as their officiant, which made the ceremony that much more meaningful to Dao and Nam.

Dao and Nam's wedding was the first wedding that I could truly sense the love in the room. There were so many touching moments throughout the evening that left my heart so full, from the beautiful speeches to the dances, and the overall energy that was felt. This tight knit group of friends made sure that the bride and groom had a wedding they would never forget! Click the arrow to see more photos below!

As husband and wife, Dao and Nam now travel the world, one city at a time! I love being able to follow their journey with their tradition of getting photos taken. Check out a few of the places they've been!

Dao and Nam, thank you so much for trusting in YSE for your special day and being a chapter in our storybook. You both are so amazing!
