I think I work best under pressure, because, somehow, I was able to pull off this First Birthday for Milan in less than 2 weeks. YSE was challenged with doing a First Birthday for 75 guests with a very unique theme- Bubbles, inspired by the artwork found at The Alfond Inn. My friendors and I successfully pulled off this event and I am SO incredibly happy with how it turned out!
The Alfond Inn is known for it's modern artwork found throughout the venue. Originally going into the planning, Mom's visions was a rustic woodland theme, but that changed quickly upon entering the conservatory that showcased this beautiful artwork above. This was exactly what Mom had envisioned as baby Milan LOVED bubbles! It was definitely challenging to be able to make these colors work without coming across too feminine, especially since these colors represent a unicorn or mermaid theme, but I think we pulled it off quite nicely!
After we were able to finalize Mom's vision, we had to quickly reach out to our vendors and thankfully, some of our go-to's were available. We are so grateful for working with some amazing vendors who go above and beyond for us and our clients! Please make sure you check out the vendors below who made this happen!
The main focus was this elaborate dessert bar filled with delicious desserts for the guests to enjoy. Desserts ranged from chocolate covered mini oreos, to tiramisu shooters, customized cookies, marble marshmallows, and more! It was so incredibly beautiful. The room was scattered with clear balloons that resembled floating bubbles, and the greenery wall pulled in the outdoor patio filled with festivities. There was a ball pit, DJ, facepainting and balloon twisting, claw machines, and an art station!
Cake time!!! Milan is such a cutie that he deserved not only one cake, but SIX! Not only did he have six cakes, they were ice cream cake with various flavors, even vegan options!
Happy Birthday, Milan! Although you will be too young to remember this event, know that you are loved by your family and all of this was for you. Looking forward to more celebrations with you! Thanks for being another chapter in our book!
